History of Paterson Photography / First Choice photo
Paterson Photography began in 1985, with its roots in Waterton Lakes National Park, where Mike first started capturing the beauty of the outdoors through his lens.
A lifelong nature lover, Mike uses photography to share the wonders of the natural world with clients around the globe. While Lethbridge serves as his home base, he frequently travels throughout Western Canada, photographing wildlife and landscapes in every season.
In the early 1990s, Mike expanded his passion by opening First Choice Photo Lab—now Lethbridge’s ONLY locally owned full-service photo lab.
Since 1990, Lethbridge has been home not only to our lab but also to our gallery featuring stunning nature and wildlife photography.
