I needed to go on a road trip, I had to get out of town before I went NUTS!!!
I decided to head on a road trip to Police Lake Provincial Park then to Waterton lakes National Park.
My plan was to try and do some kayaking, but mostly it was just to get out of town for a while. I was starting to need some wilderness time to recharge my batteries.

As you go west from Lethbridge it seems to be windy a lot out that way, but this day it wasn’t bad at all. There was a lot of scenery and wildlife to see and I even stopped in and visited some friends.
It was the first trip for the White Turtle IV, my Subaru, and it gave me a chance to figure out where all my gear could go.
I have to stay organized when I am out traveling so I can find things when I need them. With a new vehicle I have to find all the little storage spots to keep help me stay organized.
The day turned out a lot better then I thought it would when I first hit the road.
As an added benefit I think I found spots for most of my gear as well.

Great video Mike. Goes to show what beauty is right here at our own back door. Very inspiring 🙂
Thanks!
