The Oldman River and Lethbridge High Level bridge go hand in hand. After so many years seeing the bridge the valley would not be complete if the bridge was not there.
A cool fall morning walk in the Elizabeth Hall Wetlands is a perfect way to catch the first light shining off the river, fall leaves and the high level bridge.
I don’t like a lot of man made objects but without the bridge it would not say Lethbridge. Even when flying home I knew I was just about home when I saw the bridge. It looks a lot smaller from the air but seeing it span the valley either from the air or ground it still looks impressive.
No matter the season or the weather the bridge still stands joining the east side of Lethbridge to the west, Almost like it was holding things together.
