Van updates

I’ve got several van updates on my to-do list, but honestly, over the past year, I haven’t tackled much. I’ve just been out using the van — and that’s been the most fun part!

I do have a bunch of small upgrades and tweaks planned, but the weather hasn’t exactly been cooperative. This past weekend, I was hoping to dive into a couple of projects… but it was so cold, I only managed to finish one before heading back inside to hibernate.

Here’s hoping for some warmer days ahead so I can finally cross a few more things off that list!

I’d been thinking for a while about adding a slide-out shelf to the cupboard where I store my food. At first, I planned to do it for both shelves, but after finishing just the bottom one, I realized that was all I really needed. Now, I can easily pull out the bottom shelf to see what’s inside, while the top shelf is open and visible — so I’m happy with the setup.

I managed to build and install the shelf before the weather turned cold and rainy. I quickly tossed everything back in and moved my work to the garage. Took a few pictures today as the snow finally started melting!

A few weeks ago, during a brief warm spell, I also knocked out a small project — installing a towel rack in the bathroom. It’s nothing major, but it really helps keep things organized.

Now, I just need to wait for the weather to warm up so I can tackle a few more van upgrades!
